Designed by Foster + Partners for the 1999 Jubilee LIne extension, Canary Wharf station is situated in a space 78 feet deep by 869 feet long, with light being directed to the deep-level platform areas via two curved glass canopies at either end of the station. Its multiple connections make it one of the busiest stations on the network with 40 million users every year.
