Mini Guide No.6 is an exploration of The Alton Estate in Roehampton, probably the most influential and acclaimed estate from the immediate postwar years. Designed by two separate groups of London County Council’s architect department, the estate has a Scandinavian influenced East half and a more Beton Brut inspired West half. Despite the threat of demolition and redevelopment, the estate is still a great example of the postwar urge to create a better world. The guide is 60 pages long with over 40 colour photographs , and an in depth essay on the LCC’s post war estates.

The mini guide is printed on 150 gsm paper, with a 250 gsm matt laminated cover. You can order your copy right HERE
