Kemp and Tasker
Lambeth

An art deco-style house based on a design by the partnership of Kemp and Tasker for the Ideal Home Exhibition in 1934, with a boast that it could be built anywhere. The exhibition house has now been listed after nearly being demolished. It was home for many years to the psychologist Hans Eyseneck, and has had a few alterations, but retains its flexible internal plan which allows for the ground floor to be opened up into a large entertainment space for parties and gatherings.
